When signed into law thirty-three years ago, the goal of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday was not only to celebrate the man and his contribution to social justice, but also to make the holiday a day of community service. While many people across the nation have accepted the call by devoting their time to serve humanity, there is always more that can be done.
In keeping with of the intentions of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, Crenshaw community have come together to set aside a day to organize relevant services that are essential to sustain or improve physical and economic livelihood, free, to residents of the Crenshaw District.

Then, spend some time... helping us help those in need.
Medical providers will be available for hypertension, cholesterol, diabetes, vision, and dental screenings. AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) Black Aids Crisis Taskforce (ABACT) will provide education and HIV/AIDS Testing onsite.
Make a single or monthly donation directly from your bank account, credit card, or Paypal.
California Employment Development Department will pre-screen and interview pre-registered applicants for available jobs.
Attorneys will be available to answer immigration and landlord/tenant questions.
